First Reconciliation Requirements
- The child must be baptized.
- Parents must attend a parent meeting.
- The child must attend a first reconciliation retreat.
First Communion Requirements
- The child must be baptized.
- The child must have already recieved first communion.
- Parents must attend a parent meeting.
- The child must attend a first reconciliation retreat.
Confirmation Requirements
- Participation in Parish Faith Formation for at least the past two years
- Attendance at all sessions
- Attendance at Sunday mass; if not here a verbal report on where you were and what the Gospel reflected
- Sponsors must attend Nov. 22 session and final session May 15 or 16. Sponsors must be involved in parish community
- Catholic IQ test to be worked on throughout the year, to be ready at year end for interview with Fr. Joe
- There will be three reflection papers; one on your chosen saint and two scripture reflections done with your sponsor due approximately every other month
- Attendance at youth ministry events throughout the year
- Ministry in-service training within the parish with written report on how it impacted your faith
- Eucharistic Adoration at least once over the year
Required Items
- Catholic Youth Bible; if you do not have one you can purchase one at the Fatima Shrine orS Life Resources
- Notebook for Confirmation journal
- Copy of Baptismal and 1st Eucharist certificates
- Payment of $50.00 to cover costs. (we are trying to keep costs low, if we need additional funds we will let you know)
