Our Pastor
Fr. Jim Bastian became our Pastor on
October 1, 2013, and was officially installed as our new Pastor on December 7, 2013, the eve of our parish’s feast day. With him, he has brought some new ideas and lots of smiles.
He was born November 22, 1966, and lived in Kenmore, NY for 16 years until his father’s job was transferred to Kentucky. In 1988 he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kentucky. It was during this time that he felt God calling him to the priesthood.
From 1989 – 1992 he attended Mundelein Seminary in Chicago, Illinois. In 1992 he moved back to Western New York to attend Christ the King Seminary in East Aurora. In 1994 he graduated with a Master in Divinity Degree and on June 10, 1995 was ordained to
the priesthood.
